Welcome Friday!

Hello! Welcome Friday! I have missed you.

It seems as though it has been a year since I have experienced a true Friday.  With my current job, I tend to work all weekend long.  It's not that I despise it.  I enjoy that I work from home, and can do my tasks at any hour, on any day.  But sometimes it is overwhelming and sometimes I just need a break!  I feel as though I am constantly tied to my computer screen and iPhone!

I think this weekend I will take a break from all that!  I just wrapped registration.  I sent out all the snack checks and rosters.  I have confirmed most of my 5k plans, and signed all the contracts.  I also finished my grant application with plenty of time before the deadline.  With the exception of a few emails and maybe a blog post this weekend, I think I am going to shut down the computer and stay away from it!  This will be a fun and interesting challenge!

Today, being Friday, many exciting things have happened.
The sun finally came out after 3 days of rain.  Nothing like wonderful rain showers to make you appreciate this beautiful Fall weather!

I received a little package on my door step today.  There is more to this story, and I hope to share it with you soon...but I am so excited to dig in!

I set up my new printer.  Although it isn't a wireless printer, I was able to network it to my wireless router so I can print from anywhere in my house!  Score!  (BTW this specific printer is on sale right now at Staples for $60!)

And the whole day started out on the right foot with a breakfast date with Forbes, a devotion, and a very productive morning in front of the fire at Panera!

Now I am just enjoying a Java Juice Smoothie before heading off to my hostess job before my weekend officially starts!

What are your plans this weekend?  Mine include a long run with friends, a trip to the Farmer's Market, a photo shoot with Forbes, and a night out on the town!  And of course church!  Doesn't get more exciting than this folks!  Have a good one!
