This weekend I have accomplished many things...
Not opening my computer hardly at all.
Napping, not once, but twice.
Going out on the town, not once, but twice.
Grocery shopping at a plethora of stores. Hint: the cheapest place to find organic pumpkin puree is Target! Oh, and Lowe's Foods is giving away samples of the Biscoff Spread- delicious!
While the rain threatened to ruin many of our plans, and did ruin some (read: Farmer's Market and Alex + Tanya photoshoot), I still managed to squeeze in two outdoor runs!
I achieved a new Post-Marathon Personal Distance Record (PMPDR- that exists right?) 8 miles and signed up for a half-Mary in just two weeks!
All in all, it has been a very productive week, and very relaxing weekend, and now I'm fully refreshed for another Monday through Friday (that ends with a very exciting trip!)
Until then...let's catch up!
Fitness:
Sunday- rest
Monday- 4 mile run (all by myself!)
Tuesday- 4 mile run, 12 mile bike ride
Wednesday- 60 minute Total Body class, 60 minute Zumba class
Thursday- rest
Friday- rest
Saturday- 3.5 mile run
I wasn't happy about 3 rest days this week, but given my double workouts on Tuesday and Wednesday, I took it easy on myself when things got busy at the end of the week.
I ran more miles this week than I have in a long time (including an 8 mile run on Sunday) and it feels good to get back out there. The Fall weather is encouraging and now I have a few races on the calendar to push my motivation.
Faith:
This week we discussed Conversion, and how I knew it was time to give my life to Christ to follow Him!
Food:
The Pineapple Upside Down Micro-Muffin is delicious, healthy and quick and easy! You must try it!
Recipes I still owe you from last week? 4. Coming soon: Chinese Tofu and Veggies, Chocolate Smoothie, Vegan Pizza Pockets, and Cinnamon Cake Donuts! And I also just whipped up delicious mini- Vegan Quiche! You will definitely get that recipe soon!
Friends:
My blog friend Caitlin ran not one, but two triathlons this weekend (while I was taking just as many naps)! Hop on over to Healthy Tipping Point to read her recaps!
Future:
Goals this week-
For work, I want to visit at least 4 GOTR sites
Run a 10-miler before I leave for our trip on Friday
Finish reading Fast Living
That's all folks!
