Trips

From South Carolina to Virginia, we are all over the place this week. 

I have dreams of some day vacationing in exotic, far-off places.  However, when it comes down to planning trips I am a sucker for seeing family.  People are my everything.  I am a people-person.  Didn't you know?  So while the temptation of the Caribbean or Italy is always there, I'd really much rather visit the ones I love, who just so happen to be a bit closer on the map as well.

So this week Eleanor and I drove down to visit my Aunt Linda and cousin Melody and her babies in South Carolina.  It was a fast over night trip that saved us from loneliness at home while Alex was in class all week. 

And today he made it home early and we are repacking the bags to hit the road.  First to our dear friends' home outside of DC to visit them and their new little baby girl, Rose.  Next to my uncle's near Richmond...and any other stops along the way that our little hearts desire.  I hear Richmond is a beautiful city.  And I hear there are amazing places every where in between. 

So I am a bit sporadic with posting this week, but just know we are out on an adventure, soaking in all the summer has to offer!  Happy Friday!
