Wednesday Ramblings

Baby girl turned five months old this weekend!  She is getting so big.  I really need to focus and get her five month photos done.  It's the goal for tomorrow.
Baby shoes are the cutest...even if they never stay on.  These are the only ones that last longer than 30 seconds.  Even as I write that, I am so thankful for this deliriously warm weather so my baby can go barefoot.  The only way to be!  No more socks.
This week I am stressed.  I feel like I am not giving 100% to anything in my life.  I really need to focus a little better and prioritize.  Work has been pulled right to the top, but working out is at the very bottom.  In between is everything else.  While family always comes first, work is definitely taking a precedence right now.  This morning as I lay in bed at 4:45am, I contemplated getting up for cycle class.  Then came the realization that sleep>working out.  I would be doing everyone a disservice by pulling myself out of bed that early.

I have a hard time prioritzing, but it does seem pretty easy to decide between two commitments.  Last night spending time with my family and giving Alex my attention won over attending a meeting.

Alex > meetings (most of the time)

Rather than shower yesterday afternoon I opted to fix dinner

Food > Cleanliness :)

I was finishing up Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers yesterday and it seemed to consume all of me until I turned that final page.  It has been so long since I have read fiction!

Reading > Everything
Check out that bald spot!  And that booty!  Eleanor just keeps getting bigger and stronger.  She is so squirmy on the mat.  She cannot wait to crawl! I can.  Notice that outlet right above her without a cover...baby proofing might need to start soon.

It's midweek and I am already ready for the weekend.  Really, I'm just ready for Thursday.  Thursdays are my favorite.  Essentially a day-off for me.  I enjoy bible study in the morning while Eleanor plays at child care and then we typically have lunch with friends and walk around Birkdale.  By the time we get home it is almost time for Alex to come home from work.  It is wonderful.

You know what else is wonderful?  Having two cars.  Bam!

Have a great Wednesday!

What are some priorities in your life right now?
