Apple Nachos

Let's talk about my new favorite snack...Apple Nachos.  A Pinterest find that I just can't resist.  Truly, the flavor isn't that much different from apples dipped in peanut butter--but the presentation makes this dish!  Thinly sliced apples, drippy peanut butter, almost melted chocolate chips and a sprinkling of chia seeds....mmm-mmm!

Apple Nachos

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients (1 serving (or two if you are n)
  • 1 granny apple, sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Instructions
Arrange apple slices on plate. If your peanut butter isn't drippy, you may want to heat up in the microwave for a minute or so. You could even melt the chocolate and peanut butter together before topping the apples.
Drizzle drippy peanut butter on top of apples and top with chocolate chips.
Microwave for 30 seconds, just until chocolate chips are soft but apples aren't too warm.
Sprinkle on chia seeds and serve.

Tuesday is a busy day with more scheduled meetings than I can physically and humanly make.  Ruh-roh!  So I am off to try to figure it all out!  I hope you have a wonderful day and enjoy a snack of apple nachos!
