I'm sorry, but my job is better than yours!

Have I mentioned lately that I have the best job ever?! I don't mean to brag, but I seriously get paid to do this:
Just looking at these photos from today makes me want to start crying!  Rather than sob my way through this post, I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves.
Today I am filled with gratitude.  I smile thinking of the wonderful men and women that I have met through this organization.  Folks who give effortlessly of their time and talents.  I just get to be the lucky one who who works here, but everyone around me are the true heroes of Girls on the Run.
These two ladies who continuously inspire me and help me to live up to my full potential!  (All photo credit belongs to the lady in pink above and my husband.)
My early birds.  Awake and moving at 5am and on task by 6!  These people have dedicated so much time to this organization and this race, not just today but all season long!
My Hepler Helper!  Dedicated, strong, and always willing to help!  I never have to think twice about asking for a favor.  I hope you know that I am always here to return the favor Michelle!
My new volunteer coordinator!  Oh how I know the stress that is involved in this job!  With 11 races under my belt as volunteer coordinator, I am all too aware of what she went through today, and all week!  The coolest part is Tasha made it look so easy!  Effortless, even!
Marsha, in the far background of this photo (in orange)! Love this woman! She lifts my spirits and assures me that what I do really does have an impact-- from Girls on the Run to the blog!  She inspires me with her dedication and motivation for a healthy life!

I just cannot say enough to cover the multitude of joy that has filled my heart today.  The one person who deserves the most gratitude but went un-photographed today is my own Mr. Kummerow.  He is my wing man, and even though this post is beginning to sound like an acceptance speech, I just have to say that it is only because of him that I am still sane!

There was magic all around us today!  With no moisture in the forecast today, we received this special gift during the event!
The first snow of the season!  Light and airy and a perfect touch for a perfect day!

Words and photos cannot describe the joy in my heart today, I did my best here...but what you saw was just a simple taste of the feast!  I just thank God that I get to do this every day.

And just one more photo for you, because my wonderful husband knows how important the food is to me, he had the presence of mind to snap this photo for my wonderful blog readers!
Have a great weekend!
